Our Tibetan language learning courses explore the cultural and philosophical underpinnings of the Tibetan language, allowing students to build a strong foundation through immersion in the worldview that informs the oral and textual traditions.

When teaching the Tibetan language, an introduction to the worldview of the Buddhist principles that lend their framework for some etymological roots and functions of particles and verbal actions is emphasized.

  • The study of the textual Tibetan language helps to develop an understanding of the scriptural language used in the Tibetan Buddhist literature. Reading the language is a fundamental element to deepen the understanding of the principles of the philosophical views and the contemplative practices.
